Festival Faces in Clay

As part of a community art experience, Festival Faces in Clay invites the public to take part in a unique, hands-on creative event on May 16th from 12pm to 5pm at Susan Herlihy Ceramics, The Square, Midleton.

This open, drop-in workshop encourages participants of all ages to create a small clay face, contributing to a collaborative artwork that celebrates the spirit and individuality of the local community. Whether playful, expressive, or abstract, each piece will form part of a larger shared installation.

Participants are invited to “make a face, leave your mark,” and become part of a collective artistic moment. Once the festival ends, the clay faces will be fired and assembled into a public installation that will capture a joyful mosaic of expressions created by the people of Midleton.

Blending creativity, community and accessibility, Festival Faces in Clay offers a welcoming space for everyone to engage with art in a meaningful and lasting way.
