Literature and poetry enthusiasts are invited to a special afternoon of spoken word as acclaimed poet and author David McLoughlin takes to the stage for a poetry reading at Midleton Books.
The event will take place on Sunday, May 24th at 2:00 pm, offering attendees an opportunity to experience McLoughlin’s powerful and engaging work in an intimate setting. Known for his compelling voice and dynamic performances, McLoughlin promises an enriching experience for both seasoned poetry lovers and newcomers alike.
Following the reading, the event will continue with the announcement of competition results, celebrating local talent, and will conclude with an open mic session, encouraging audience members to share their own poetry and creative expressions.
The afternoon will also feature Alice Barry of Noggin Theatre Company, adding further artistic depth to the event.
