Music lovers and street performers are invited to take part in the Busking Competition on Saturday, 23 May 2026.
The competition will showcase local and visiting musical talent in a lively celebration of creativity and community spirit throughout the town. Performers of all ages and styles are encouraged to participate and bring energy and entertainment to the streets of Midleton during the festival.
Participants can register outside the courthouse from 11:00am on the day of the event. Busking performances will take place throughout the day, with judging scheduled between 12:00pm and 1:00pm.
The Busking Competition forms part of the wider festival programme, which celebrates arts, culture, music and community engagement across Midleton. Festival organisers are encouraging families, visitors and supporters of live music to come along and enjoy the atmosphere.
