VARIABLES VI: Art Exhibition

Contemporary Group Exhibition Opens at MyPlace Midleton

A vibrant new chapter in contemporary art arrives this May with Variables VI, a dynamic group exhibition curated by Danny McCarthy, opening at MyPlace Midleton from Friday 22 May – Sunday 24 May.

Bringing together a diverse range of artistic voices from the MÓR Artists Collective, Variables VI explores the evolving relationships between form, process, and perception. The exhibition reflects a spirit of experimentation and dialogue, where each work responds to shifting ideas and materials – embracing “variables” as both concept and method.

An Opening Reception will take place on Friday 22 May from 7–9 PM, offering visitors an opportunity to meet participating artists and experience the exhibition in a lively, informal setting.

Featuring painting, mixed media, and interdisciplinary practices, Variables VI highlights the breadth of contemporary art being produced within the collective. The exhibition encourages audiences to engage with works that challenge convention while remaining rooted in personal expression and shared creative inquiry.

This exhibition is presented in association with Midleton Arts Festival, with support from Cork County Council, Waterford City & County Council and Greywood Arts.
