Midleton Arts Festival Art Exhibition
“Variables V” is the main annual exhibition held as part of the Midleton Arts Festival and consists of works by professional artists from the region. This year’s show is the largest yet and consists of the works of over twenty artists all part of the MÓR Artists Collective. It will comprise of paintings in various mediums, sculpture, photography, prints and drawings. Amongst the artists exhibiting will be Sue Van Coppenhagen, John McHarg, Victoria Tammadge, Jaki Coffey, Matt Ind, Annie Shaw, Janet Turra, Basil Al-Rawi, Niall McCarthy and many others. It is curated by the artist Danny McCarthy with assistant curator Victoria Tammadge
The exhibition has always been one of the many highlights of the festival and this year promises to be no exception. It will be opened by Mary McCarthy Director Crawford Gallery Cork.
The Mor Artists Collective consists of professional artists, writers, film makers and musicians from the East Cork and West Waterford regions Mór Artists Collective is artist-led, facilitated by Greywood Arts, and supported by Cork County Council & Waterford County & City Arts offices..
