Recording Artist, Author, international Music Educator Ryan Kershaw ( co-Founder of Goldirocks on Oliver Plunkett Street) is holding a special workshop as part of the Midleton Arts Festival this month!
This workshop is for for all levels – from those curious about songwriting to professionals and industry veterans
Not just for Musicians but everyone who has passion for creativity or works in a creative business. Instruments not necessary but you are welcome to bring yours along!

It doesn’t matter if you are starting from scratch & never played or an industry veteran – there will be something in here for you to learn!
You will get learning material for you to keep.
Meeting other artists. Ideas will be shared to benefit everyone.
The workshop is for ages over 16 years, and for all levels of musician or artist.

About the host:
Ryan Kershaw is an internationally respected recording artist, author and music educator. 100% of his students undertaking High School and University music exams have passed with A Levels in both performance and composition, and his students have topped both the Reverb Nation and iTunes charts.
After studying under Jack Canfield (author of the 500,000,000 selling Chicken Soup for the soul series) and being mentored by Lorraine Barry (former Marketing Director for Virgin Records – Spice Girls, Smashing Pumpkins, ICE-T) he went on to pioneer the crossover of education and personal growth with the music industry through his innovative books and workshops, and amplified the conversation on mental health in the industry with his 2014 interview on the Nutters club.
Ryan’s books include of Make Money Teaching Guitar, and Use Your Buzz To Play The Guitar. He is a Music Managers award winner and former board member of Independent Music New Zealand. He has contributed advice articles and interviews to WGN Chicago, Audioculture, and numerous radio and television programs, and continues to write for Music Education New Zealand, and the Guitar Association of New Zealand.
Ryan co-founded Goldirocks, a music consultancy/creative hair studio hybrid with his partner Sarah (Munster Hairdresser of the year 2018) on Oliver Plunkett Street, Cork City.
